Meet Lyssa, our Lead Guide at Mountain Blue Private Tours of the Greater Yellowstone Area. Lyssa has a 12 year background in therapeutic healthcare, and a 13 year background as a teacher in public education, totaling 25 years working in service for the public.
Lyssa is a Certified Yellowstone National Park Interpretive Guide. She has dabbled in forestry, and is a 2026 Certified Rocky Mountain Naturalist.
Lyssa is an explorer and adventurer at heart. In 2020, she completed a solo, self-determined bike trip, riding over 1,370 miles throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and continues to create challenging feats for herself to dominate.
Lyssa has spent hundreds of hours studying inside of and researching Yellowstone National Park, and is committed to providing an exceptional experience and adventure for you on your tour.
